9月15日 the alley, an apple tree, and she..A nice stone-pathed alley, sidelined by neatly manicured shrubs and short trees. At night, the alley is softly lit by pale yellow lights sipping through windows of the pre-war flats standing quietly on both sides. A family eating supper, a lone man reading, or a few friends chatting. The serenity and peacefulness, the sweet scent of the flora around you can both intoxicate your senses. As you walk into this alley, you travel though time and space into a world of pure fairy tale land.
In the middle of the alley is an apple tree, still a young plant considering the size of its trunk and branches. It is the beginning of autumn, and the tree is budding with apples oddly looking like small green tomatoes. We were strolling in the alley, occassionally staring into the deep midnight sky filled with stars. We stopped beside the apple tree. She tipped toed, her slender arms reached out, and plucked two apples, passing over one to me, and toying the other with her fingers.
"i wonder if they can be eaten..."she said softly.
"you will know tomorrow..."I said as i took a bite.
A soft laughter.
I turned and stared at the most beautiful side profile of a woman i have seen so far.
A starry night, the alley, the apple tree, and her eyes, will be forever sewn into my mind... 引用通告此內容的引用通告是: http://lesliechong.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E14FB6BB4B25C6A3!505.trak 引述這則內容的部落格
